History.?He had a severe attack of purulent ophthalmia with considerable tumefaction of both upper lids, a couple of months previous to date, which was treated with instillation of native drugs. A week after the commencement of the treatment, the upper lid of right eye got everted and remained strangulated in that position by muscular spasm; and in three more days, the left eye was similarly affected ?with considerable abatement of the subjective symptoms.
